This 6 day short tour starts at Auckland airport and travels by coach to Rotorua for unique local sightseeing, the fantastic Rotorua Walking Festival, and then returns to Auckland Airport. Ideal sightseeing and walking opportunity for those travellers with limited time in NZ.

Wed 18 March 2009. Meet and greet at Auckland airport and travel by coach to Rotorua. Accommodation & Welcome dinner at at Distinction Rotorua Hotel (4 star).

Thus 19 & Fri 20 March 2009.  Sightseeing - Geothermal hot springs and geysers, historic Maori village, evening Maori hangi dinner & show. Unique NZ nature park, Sheep Show, Gondola ride & lunch. Official opening of the Rotorua Walking Festival.

Sat 21 & 22 March 2009 - Rotorua Walking Festival programme. Includes festival entertainment, social and dinner

Mon 23 March 2008 - Return to Auckland for own onward travel .

Accommodation is 4 star and most meals are included.
